IAM BARI

CIHEAM-IAMBari Institute, is an intergovernmental organization having the objective of carrying out Training, Research and Cooperation activities in Mediterranean countries in the fields of i) Land and Water Resources Management, ii) Integrated Pest management and, iii) Organic Agriculture.

It has extensive experience in supporting a broad range of South Med countries to formulate national climate change strategies and action plans, to mainstream climate change into their development policies, to formulate and implement climate change mitigation and adaptation programs, in particular related to water resources management and agricultural production, and to build awareness and capacity to tackle the challenges of climate change.

CIHEAM-IAMBari Institute, has a long experience on climate change studies and projects financed by the European Commission, the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Italian Ministry of Agriculture.

CMCC also supports policymakers in setting and assessing costs, mitigation, and adaptation policies.
